Ananda Marga Gurukula (Sweden) is an independent educational association registered in Sweden, by Dr. Shambhushivananda as the Chancellor of Global Educational Network, to nurture inner and outer peace and bring an all round progress in the world. The explicit purpose of Gurukula as enunciated by its propounder Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar is “to serve humanity with a neohumanist spirit and to acquire knowledge for that purpose.” As the Chancellor (Kulapati) of Gurukula, Dr. Acarya Shambhushivananda Avadhuta serves as the custodian of sacred legacy of Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji for the purpose of “liberating human intellect from all dogma” and “to hasten human evolution towards a more compassionate and progressive society.” The vision of Gurukula is to help build a neohumanist society and a new world order where ‘neohumanist values’ serve as its foundation.

The spirit of Ananda Marga Gurukula is captured in the song composed on October 20,1990  by Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar. The meaning of the song lyrics goes like this:

We will establish the Gurukul.
We will dye each and every bud with the light of knowledge.
No one shall remain distant;
we will sound every string of the lyre.
We will bind everybody with the thread of love and create
a garland of incomparable beauty.
No one shall be left behind;
none will be pushed to the bottom
All will exist as kith and kin
with their minds full of sweetness and tenderness for all.
